Privacy and the visit log
Updated Nov 6, 2026
Credential House is built from static pages. It has no sign-up and no forms, it sets no cookies, and it runs no code from any ad or analytics company. What it does keep is a narrow log of arrivals from outside the site, set out below.

When a visit is logged
Our pages sit on Cloudflare Pages behind a short script of ours that sees each request. That script writes an entry to our visit log only if a page on credentialhouse.com is requested in one of these three ways:
- the browser reports a referring address on another domain, such as a search results page, another website or an app;
- the link includes campaign tags (utm_source and related parameters);
- the request comes from an AI assistant reading the page on someone's behalf, or from an AI search crawler. Crawlers collecting material for AI training are excluded.
Clicking between pages here leaves no entry. Neither does a typed-in address, a bookmark with no referring address, or a page your browser preloads in the background.
Inside a log entry
- whether a person's browser or an AI tool made the request, and if a tool, its name;
- which page was requested, the referring address in full and any utm source, medium and campaign values;
- the user-agent your browser or tool identified itself with;
- the IP address, its autonomous system number and operator, and Cloudflare's estimate of the country, region and city behind it.
The entry is dispatched to our own statistics server only after your page has been delivered, so it cannot delay or alter it. Its single use is measuring which channels bring readers: search, AI tools or links on other sites.
Never collected here
- No cookies, third-party trackers, ad networks, analytics tags or social buttons.
- No accounts, newsletter, comments or forms; nobody here asks who you are or how to reach you.
- Quiz marking runs in your browser. Choices and scores stay on your device and vanish when the tab closes.
When you follow a link out
Exam owners, test vendors and state agencies are linked from many pages. Pages here carry the referrer policy no-referrer-when-downgrade: follow one of those links to an https site and that site learns the complete URL, path included, of the Credential House page that sent you. That address is all it receives from us; after that, its own privacy terms govern.
Cloudflare as host
As the host, Cloudflare handles every request, serving pages and blocking abusive traffic; how it treats that data is set out in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
